Senate to Hear Another Anti-Energy, Anti-Growth Bill

Senate Business & Commerce will hear Senate Bill 819, which would slow economic growth, reduce energy supply, and raise Texans' power bills, on Thursday.

Below is a re-release of A Time for Choosing, an article about Senate Bill 819 which was behind the paywall. The bill by a self-described conservative invokes “the police power of the state” (that’s in the bill) to regulate solar and wind development on private property and slow down Texas’ world-leading energy industry.
